Regardless of your role in your family, it’s important to lead by example. Our actions empower those around us, so it’s important to lead in a way that inspires our family to do better and be better. Single, committed, married, divorced, kids, step kids, or extended family—it all belongs here.
Have you ever felt like your presence is a present? It’s the feeling you get when gratitude overwhelms you because somehow you know you’re exactly where you’re meant to be with the people you’re meant to be with. You don’t feel pulled by something else or distracted—you just feel pure joy. These are the moments you’re so engaged with others that time seems to stop, and you wouldn’t really care if it did.
These moments seem to be increasingly rare. Social media steals our focus; alerts and notifications interrupt our interactions; and work obligations never stop running around in our mind long enough for us to appreciate the present moment.

Today’s #OolaYLChallenge is to put down your phone from 4 to 7 p.m.
We aren’t saying ignore your kids’ phone calls or don’t call your mom. We mean keep off social media, stay away from apps and digital games, and be engaged in the moment. Giving up your phone for three hours allows you to spend a brief amount of time focused on being present in your relationships. Recognize and appreciate what a blessing these moments are.
While you spend your three hours away from your devices, we suggest diffusing Family™ essential oil blend. Its aroma will support feelings of unconditional love, patience, and respect.
As always, thanks for reading my blog!! I hope today has an amazing you!!!

when it comes to finances, we want you to simply spend less money than you make. Debt is very un-Oola.
There are primarily three ways we use money: spending, giving, and saving. Most of us don’t have a problem spending it, but when it comes to giving and saving, we have a harder time.

Today’s #OolaYLChallenge is to sacrifice something small today for something bigger.
Sacrifice a small purchase and put that money toward paying off debt, giving, or saving. Whether it’s the $5 you spend at your favorite coffee shop, the take-out meal you grab when you don’t feel like cooking, or the must-have snacks you pick up at the theater, take the money you usually spend (however small it may be) and put it toward something bigger. The sooner you take control of your finances, the closer you get to the life you dream of and deserve—your OolaLife.
After you make your small sacrifice, put a couple drops of Finance™ essential oil blend in your palms, inhale, and say, “I am financially free and living abundantly.”
As always, thanks for reading my blog! I hope today has the best you!

Each one of us was designed for a life of greatness and purpose—the OolaLife! In order to find the life we’re destined for, we must attain balance and growth through the seven Fs of Oola. Oola’s first F is Fitness.
It’s easy to point out what we love about how other people look. We notice how fit, strong, and good-looking they are. Social media, magazines, and TV bombard us with ideas of what our bodies should look like and what diet we should be on. It’s easy to get caught up in society’s idea that physical appearance dictates beauty. With all these influences, it’s easy to compare our bodies to the “perfect” things we see in society. Today, we want you to find the beauty in you.

Today’s #OolaYLChallenge is to think of three things you love about your body.
It’s important to embrace a healthy lifestyle and feel confident, but the first step toward improving is to find beauty and gratitude in the position you’re in right now. Fitness is about embracing health, not pursuing appearance. Be grateful for the body you have and have faith in how far you can still go. Once you’ve chosen three things you love about your body, put a couple drops of Fitness™ essential oil blend in your palm, inhale, and say, “I am fit, healthy, disciplined, and strong.”

Fun –

Have you ever caught yourself smiling while you’re doing something you love? When it’s almost impossible to hold it back, that’s OolaFun.

You might think you don’t have time for fun. Well, we’re going to make you schedule it in. But not just any fun—we want to take you back to when you were younger. Maybe you loved playing a sport and you could never get enough. Maybe it was the family board games growing up. Maybe it was something you did with your childhood or college friends. If you take some time to think about it, you’ll realize that everyone has those activities that instantly bring us back to the “good ol’ days.”

Today’s #OolaYLChallenge is to do one activity or hobby that you used to enjoy but quit for whatever reason.
Enjoy the process of reflecting on your memories, schedule a little time for fun, and tap into the carefree joy of your youth. We bet you’ll be smiling. Before you embark on your fun for the day, put a couple drops of Fun™ essential oil blend in the palms of your hand, inhale, and say, “I am pursuing the joys of life.” This aroma promotes uplifting and euphoric emotions and enhances the pleasure of pursuing the joys of life.
As always, thanks for reading my blog. I hope today is having a great you!!

Over the years you form relationships with many different people whom you consider your friends. And for better or for worse, the more time we spend with our friends, the more they shape who we become.

Positive friendships push you to pursue your dreams, but toxic relationships pull you further away from your OolaLife. Sometimes we let negative relationships keep us from positive relationships. Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World talks about the importance of setting boundaries so you can harness the pure love from healthy relationships.

Today’s #OolaYLChallenge is to look at your current friendships and disengage from a negative one.
Evaluate your relationships and adjust your boundaries or set a boundary with a toxic person who may have a negative influence in your life. This could mean unfriending that person on Facebook, asking for a change you need within a relationship, or ending negative texts from controlling or manipulative people in your life.
When you set a boundary in a negative relationship, you make more room for positive relationships. To take this challenge even further, put a couple drops of Friends™ essential oil blend on your palms, inhale, and say, “I am blessed with empowering, healthy relationships.” The affirmation and scent will encourage awareness as you reflect on your friendships.

Faith. Oola does not shy away from faith. Who and what you believe in is up to you, but we know that faith is rooted in gratitude, humility, and an understanding of your greater purpose in the world.
It’s easy to get caught up in our thoughts. We overanalyze, overthink, and overgeneralize. The patterns in our lives make it easy to get lost in our own minds. We wake up thinking, and we have a hard time falling asleep because our minds are running. Our thoughts can turn to worry, but guess what? It takes the same amount of energy to pray or meditate as it does to think.

Today’s #OolaYLChallenge is to meditate or pray about something as often as you think about it.
Pray and ponder your worries, your stresses, your fears, your questions, your blessings, and your loved ones. Start by simply beginning and ending your day with a prayer or brief meditation session. If you really want to challenge yourself, use the topics of your thoughts as a cue that you should productively ponder those things throughout the day.
To enhance your challenge today, end the day in gratitude. Think about the good and the bad of your day and what makes you grateful for both. Put a couple drops of Faith™ essential oil blend in the palms of your hands and inhale as you say, “I am grateful, humble, and fully connected.”

Oola Life
“Oola” – is simply a life that is balanced and growing in all the key areas of health and well-being.
As always thanks for reading my blog and I hope today has a good you!!!

Field refers to your career or profession, including stay-at-home parents and students. There are two categories in OolaField. First is your day job. This is typically something you do to make ends meet. It isn’t your passion, but it pays the bills. The second category is your dream job. This is a job that makes you feel like you’re fulfilling your purpose. If money were no object, what would you do? For some, it’s growing their own business. Others may have a passion for writing, caretaking, or homemaking.
Unfortunately, it’s rare that you find people who make the most of every moment of their job, whether it’s their day job, their dream job, or somewhere in between.
Today’s challenge is to find at least one way to give your all to the job you have today.

You may not be in your dream job. You may not feel like you are serving your purpose. But every moment you make the most of your current opportunity, the closer you get to your OolaLife. Need a little extra strength to be great today? Before you head into the office, sit at your computer, or jump in the car, rub a couple drops of Field™ essential oil blend into your palms, inhale, and say, “I am pursuing my purpose in life.” Then go crush the day!
This is a challenge that I am apart of so I thought I’d share so we can all be amazing and have an Oola life together!! Not sure what Oola is? Check out these links!!
